Privacy policy

This policy describes the current LANDCMD iPhone and iPad app, provided by Chris Solomon, and this support website.

Information in the app

LANDCMD does not require an account. Business rates, equipment profiles, job estimates, notes, and a selected business logo are stored locally on your device. The app does not send these records to us or to a LANDCMD server.

The current app contains no advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking tools. We do not collect app usage data or use the app to track you across other apps or websites.

Photos and files

You may choose an image from Photos or Files for your PDF logo. LANDCMD accesses the image you select, saves a local copy for the logo, and includes it in PDFs you export. You can replace or remove the saved logo in My Costs.

PDF export and sharing

When you export an estimate, LANDCMD creates a PDF with the current estimate details and, if selected, your business logo. You decide whether to save it or share it and with whom. Sharing uses your device’s system services and the app you choose, such as Mail or Messages. Those services and recipients handle the shared document under their own practices. The PDF may include business costs, suggested prices, profit estimates, and notes; review it before sharing.

Device storage and backups

Saved app records remain on the device until you change or delete them, or remove the app. Your device’s operating system or backup services may include app data in backups according to your settings. LANDCMD has no separate cloud synchronization service. Temporary PDF export files are removed when the app’s share sheet closes.

Contacting support

If you email support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you send. We use that information to respond and troubleshoot your issue. Please do not send sensitive information that is unnecessary for support. You may contact us about removal of support correspondence, subject to any retention obligations.

This website

This website has no analytics scripts, advertising, contact forms, or sign-in. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the website.

Your choices

You can edit or delete saved estimates, replace or remove your PDF logo, and decide which documents to share. Deleting the app may remove locally stored app data. Copies you export, send, or back up are managed separately through the corresponding service.
